How do I place an order, or get a quote?

To place an order or make an enquiry for a quote, please use the contact form which you can find by clicking here. Please note that the form will only be visible when I am currently taking bookings. Bookings for February to June will open January 23rd at 9am. At the moment, I’m only booking 6 months at a time, and you can see the availability I have on the contact form. To help me give you an accurate quote, please include as much information as you can- the date it will be required, designs, quantity, details and anything else that tickles your fancy.

I missed out on ordering custom cookies. Can you fit me in anyway?

No. I am a one woman show, I do all the email correspondence, baking, decorating, cleaning, social media management etc., while also being a stay at home mum to two kids. Work and life balance is important to me, so thank you for your understanding of why I can’t fit you in if I am already booked. I have pre made personalised sets available in my ‘Every Day Range’ and they can purchased with only 2 to 3 days’ notice here regardless of being booked for customs. Please note that the Every Day Range will not be available for the middle of November to the end of December.

How much notice do you need?

It’s never too early to book in your cookies, as I tend to book out months in advance. At this point in time, I am taking bookings 6 monthly. (So from February to June, and then again from July to November. Please note I do not take custom orders for December.) If you have questions about my availability please check the contact form (it has availability on it) and then fill out your details. I do need a minimum of two weeks’ notice for custom cookie orders. A 25% rush fee will be added to all orders received after the 2 week notice time, pending availability.

Do you have a minimum order?

There is a minimum order of a dozen (12) cookies, with at least 6 cookies per design.

When is payment due? Do you take deposits?

Payment is due within 48 hours of the invoice being sent to you via email. Cookies are not booked in until paid in full, and I do not send out reminders to complete your payment. Cookies are booked in on a first come, first paid basis. I do not take deposits to hold your booking, nor do I offer payment plans.

Do you deliver or do you ship your cookies?

Cookies can be hand delivered around Geelong and the surrounds for a fee (Find your Suburb here.) Cookies can also be shipped Australia wide via Express post for $35 up to 3 dozen. While I do ship cookies, I do not take any responsibility for what happens to them when they leave the premises, and no refunds or exchanges will be given if damage occurs. Otherwise, cookies can be collected from St Albans Park.

What flavour are your cookies? Can you make a certain flavour?

Cookies are a real vanilla bean sugar cookie base, with vanilla flavoured icing. At this stage, this is the only flavour combination I have available. I may have special offerings around holidays.

What size are your cookies?

Standard sized cookies are approximately 8-9cm at the widest point. Minis are approximately 5cm at the widest point.

Do you offer gluten free, nut free or dairy free options?

Unfortunately I do not offer any allergen friendly cookies. I bake from my home kitchen where all of these ingredients are regularly used, and therefore cannot guarantee completely allergen-free cookies.

How long do cookies last?

All of our custom cookies come individually wrapped in heat sealed bags. They will last at least up to 8 weeks if unopened. Once cookie packaging is opened, consume within 24 – 72 hours to ensure freshness!

I’ve ordered my cookies earlier than I need. How do I store them?

Store cookies in a cool, dry place away from sunlight (like the pantry.) Please DO NOT place cookies in the fridge, as the condensation will ruin the icing. Cookies can be frozen if preferred. To freeze the cookies, place them in an airtight container. Rather than stacking them on top of one another, try stacking them on their sides. Take the container out of the freezer 24 hours before you'll need them, and place them on the bench. DO NOT open the container until the cookies are completely thawed. This is the most important step, opening the container may cause condensation and will ruin the cookie designs. Don’t fret if you forget! Each order comes with detailed storage instructions.

Where are you located?

Cookies by Qui are located in St Albans Park. A text with the exact pickup location will be send to you the day before or the morning of cookie pick up.

Is your kitchen registered?

Yes, my kitchen is registered with the City of Greater Geelong as a Class 2 premises.

How much are your cookies?

Cookies are different prices based on different factors (size, shape, if they need to be hand cut, how many colours, or complexity of designs etc.). There is a minimum order of a dozen (12) cookies with at least 6 cookies per design. To give you a rough idea for budgeting purposes here’s a guide:
